Kylian Mbappé is on the brink of joining Real Madrid, although his official presentation is still pending. Even before stepping onto the field for the Spanish giants, one pundit believes that the move to Los Blancos is the logical next step in his career.

The next step in this story is when Real Madrid formally introduces the player. According to a recent report from José Félix Díaz of MARCA, Real Madrid is currently looking into possible dates to unveil Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabéu.

They’re looking at a timeframe between June 3 and 9 and waiting for PSG’s approval. It appears their goal is to organize this before the Euros rather than after. For former OM defender Adil Rami, a departure to Real Madrid for Mbappé can only benefit the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

“He will have to adapt,” Rami said (h/t Le10Sport). “He is going to a place with a lot of ego with many demands. Everything will be new for him. We will see him on the field with his future team, I don’t know if it’s Real Madrid or if it’s confirmed or not. In any case, if it’s Real Madrid, it will be a great career move for him.”

PSG could speed up the player’s departure because Mbappé may participate in the Coupe de France final against Lyon. Moreover, there’s talk that the Toulouse match on May 12th could have marked his last appearance for PSG.

Reports also indicate that manager Luis Enrique has recently openly expressed frustration with certain players’ attitudes, indicating that some may have mentally disengaged even before the season concludes.
